We offer a refund and/or exchange within the first 14 days of your purchase. If 14 days have passed since the date of your purchase, you will not be offered a refund and/or exchange of any kind.
Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges
- Your article must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it.
- The item must be in the original packaging.
- To complete the return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
- We only offer refunds for items sold at the regular price, items on sale cannot be returned.
- If the item in question is marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the amount of your return.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange something for an identical item, send us an email to info@bookmaniacs.pt and send the item to:
Partial refunds are given
- Any item that is not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons other than our fault.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Once the return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
Late or missing refunds
- If you still haven't received a refund, please check your bank account first. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time for your refund to be officially credited.

Shipping
- Please do not send the product back to the manufacturer. It must be sent to the following address: Travessa da Azenha, 56, RCHESFRT, 4405-619, Gulpilhares, Vila Nova de Gaia – Portugal.
- You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item.
- Shipping costs are not refundable! If you receive a refund, the cost of the return will be deducted from your refund.
- Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your product to reach you may vary.
- Please note that we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Order cancellation:
- The customer has the right to cancel his order, even after making the payment. Cancellation must occur before the order is shipped and you must contact us at info@bookmaniacs.pt.
- The refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.
- If I have started an order cancellation process and it has already been shipped, a "Return and Refund" process will be opened, following the above-mentioned rules for these cases.
